We will be there to greet them off the buses. There's a lot of activity happening behind the scenes right now as we speak and these players and coaches need all the support they can get.

I suggest parking in the Bell lot and walking over as the players/coaches usually have the football office lot pretty full.

It was sort of the perfect storm.

It was late notice, many people that wanted to come were out of town for the holiday, and many were not back from Hattiesburg yet (stopped and ate, etc).

Still, it was good to have some people there to greet them and in the midst of the Iron Bowl going on.

Definitely a perfect storm. I left Hattiesburg going 80-85 mph. Got back to my Bessemer hotel and saw the message. Got to the football offices 20 minutes before the team. Stopped at a convenience store near my hotel on the way back from Bham and saw a player's parent filling up. Basically, if you stopped for food, you couldn't have made it there in time.
