I don't have anything against any fanbase. Just like ours, every fanbase has its outliers. I'd even have a beer with a ga state fan. What I can't stand are the delusional and absurd fans with an elementary school mentality that feel the need to call people names.

What I learned this season: Some people take football way too seriously.

i guess it is ridiculous asking YOU how many championships txst has won. while this thread is about football and that seemed to elude you, i understand why you'd want to refer to womens volleyball rather than your football accomplishments in the sun belt. txst has won ZERO football championships in the sun belt. carry on with your envy, jealousness and hate

1) it's great to be here... everything i think we imagined it to be.

2) it's nice to be in a place where teams reciprocate the hate that we have for them... it shows that fans care about their teams. not sure elon or western Carolina even cared during game weeks.

3) we've got to keep improving facilities.... basketball arena if you're reading this TK.

4) we need a CCG and i'm for having one of the participant schools host it.

5) we've developed this weird "brother" relationship with app state where it's ok to hate each other, but we kinda take up for each other since we were both the new guys.

Unless my reading skills have left me, football, was left out.
Ergo: his answer was correct to the query as posted.

While GS may not place any value in any other sport, we happen to be proud of our volleyball team and their accomplishments over the years. Tons of schools value more than just football. Yes, we all know it is the premier recognition getter for most schools. I do know there are U's out there that are known more for other sports than their football team.
UConn - Women's Basketball
NMSU, Kentucky, Georgetown - Men's Basketball
UT - baseball (most titles ever)

The SBC is also known for baseball and softball and I see the upcoming season as another good one.

We sucked in FCS but are building something good in FBS. It may take us longer but we are proud of the players. What we are tired of is your team wanting something no other transitional school has been allowed to have.............by rule. And those of you that say you don't want to take the place of a team that has actually gone through the transition and earned it.....you're lying to yourselves and everyone else.

I learned that I do not care for Southern Georgia very much and I hope that we crush them next year.
