If this was one of the mwc 3 best teams then maybe its still a very weak conference and boise is the only truly decent team. I just don't believe that boise would run through the aac like this

MWC is like AAC. Strong at the top:Boise, Air Force, Colorado St, Utah St and weak at the bottom, unlv, Hawaii New Mexico San Jose st

AAC: ECU, Cinci, Memphis, UCF, Houston--strong.
SMU, Tulsa, Tulane, UCONN, USF--bad

It doesn't help that we didn't have more head to head match ups. UCONN lost at home to Boise and Houston won at home to UNLV. We had a horrible OOC this season. I say "we" but ECU got 2 out of the whopping 3 whole OOC P5 wins for the league. I'm happy for Memphis, you guys had a great year but lets not act like you beat everyone OOC like you could have, or didn't skip the top 2 teams in the league. The OOC portion of the Schedule was a huge flop for everyone but ECU this year, only Temple didn't lay an egg with their W over Vandy. I don't wanna take away from your year at all but describing your peers as "weak ass"?? Pretty cocky already huh?

I like you billy... But I can't let you get away with this "the MWC is equal to the AAC" nonsense.

The AAC has 6/SIX solid football programs in Memphis, Cincinnati, Houston, UCF, ECU, Temple and perhaps 7 next year with Tulane/UConn... SMU has a very nice football history and won't be down for long.

The MWC in the other hand, not even close but Boise and perhaps two others.

This season is what I'm talking about. Neither league set the world on fire, and a lot of chest pounding going on that we had a great year. ECU had a solid OOC while everyone else flopped. Going into the season I thought there d be more separation between the AAC and MWC. I hated marshan fans being disingenuous as much as you saying cusa was same as AAC. Now I'm seeing the same thing here. We are talking trash about a league (MWC) in one breath, and scheming on how to snag all those "weak ass" MWC teams in other threads. Odd, isn't it biggie? I call em as I see em. Maybe I better keep my opinion to myself if you think it's hurting the league. I think Memphis had a great year.

C'mon now, billy, you know we have some good fun back and forth discussions... Please carry on...

Good. Biggie! It all started when a Memphis fan basically started saying Memphis was a victim of circumstance due to a weak a$$ MWC conference. Implying that Memphis didn't receive the access bowl because of that reason. I pointed out that Memphis controlled their own destiny, and lost 3 games. I also pointed out that Memphis had the good fortune of skipping 2 of the top 4 on this seasons AAC schedule. Memphis had a great year. They controlled their own destiny and it could've been better with a ucla win and a Houston win but it didn't happen. I understand that most Memphis fans are class acts and see the significance of making their 7th bowl game ever and winning their first conference title. I never would've predicted this I'll admit it.....I'm proud of Memphis and thrilled for their fans!

Cincy has played Memphis, ECU, Houston 1+1+1=3.

Not sure if you completely made stuff up, or just can't add.

If you'll care to read (I'll even bold it for you), he just said Cincy is the only team that can talk about schedule...

If you'll care to read he said Memphis played 3 (they didn't) and Cincy will play 4 ( they didn't). I'll even bold it for you.

I know this can be hard for people trying yo cherry pick, but it really is easy. Take the top half of the league. What is memphis', cinci's, ecu, and ucf's record against the top half. Stop trying to cherry pick a couple of teams. Memphis is on top of the league. They can't play themselves. So take the top half of the league. Memphis has already played and won against the top half than any other team other than cinci. It's that simple. You can *****, moan, gripe, etc. etc. etc. but it's time for some real talk. Memphis is done. They've already played more teams in the top half the league than ecu, or ucf. It's childish to itch about the schedule, when Memphis has currently played more teams inthe top half of the league than ucf or ecu. And Memphis destroyed cinci at Cincinnati.

Game...set.....match.....
3=3
Nobody is denying that Memphis won their games, but 2 of your top 5 were #4 and #5. After UC, ECU, UCF, and Memphis. There is a drop. Memphis played one top 3. UC, ECU, and UCF all played 2.

See how silly that statement is. You're saying memphis is #1, and played #2, #4, #5. ( and beat 2 and 4) Let that sink in for a moment.

No Memphis isn't included. #2, #5, and #6 then. The two teams you didn't play were #3 and #4.

I noticed you included every comment I made without including the comment I replied to about Memphis getting screwed because they played a tougher schedule then a "weak ass" mwc schedule. That's what I responded to. Thanks for leaving that post out and then asking me "what are you talking about" if you don't know, then don't worry about it.

The SEC had 12 eligible bowl teams this year. Which I think is kinda bs. If you don't have at LEAST a .500 record in league play... you shouldn't be bowl eligible...which using those standards would have reduced them to 8 teams.

we've had one more year than they have to get adjusted to the league.

Still with the talent they have compared to ours. It really is a wash. They were beating ACC teams
