Who do you have La Tech or Marshall? Has Marshall ever lost a conference championship at home? I'll take Marshall by 10 42-32.

You may ask as to how I think Marshall has a chance. La Tech did lose just last week, to a team we beat and lost to a D-IAA school. Our players are so determined to make it up to the fans so I feel like they may be pumped.

If Holtz calls the game aggressive on offense we have a shot - if not then it will be a long day for the Dawgs... Wish we were playing in Ruston

Again the conference is causing a stir as to who hosts. Tiebreaker number 3 is highest ranking in most recent CFP poll (which has Herd at 24). Number 4 is higher computer average. As per number 3, the game should be in Huntington, but they say they're skipping to computer rankings and won't announce until tonight or tomorrow on twitter.

Marshall was 19 in last weeks computer rankings, LA Tech was 65th. We can't fall 46 spots can we?

If the Herd of 4 or more weeks ago shows up, Herd wins easily. If the Herd of last 2 weeks shows up, then La tech beats us down.

Most conferences stipulate that if the ranked team wins the last week, the previous week's ranking is used to determine the site. Marshall didn't win, so #3 is skipped in favor of #4.

Herd has been more consistent..... But this could be one heck of a game

Not a chance it'll be close.. Marshall is gonna be at home. IT'll be a beatdown by the Herd.

I think the tie breaker should be our games against WKU

This game has a lot of potential to be an epic CCG. If Tech plays like they did today, then they are fully capable of beating us in the final. Our defense has to tighten up and not get into a shoot out.
