AAC Football Tie Breaker
....there isn't one this year.

This can't be said any other way.

If UC, Memphis, and UCF all end up with the same conference record and in first place, they all are co champs.

Because we all don't play the same conference teams this year the idea of a tie breaker is useless, even when bringing up head to head scores. Simply because for us to have the same record it means i potentially beat somebody who beat you and it also means we didn't play the same conference teams exactly etc etc etc.

There are no tie breakers.

But if Memphis loses to UCONN, ECU beats UCF and UH beats Cincy, then we have a 5-way tie.

Memphis needs take a look at their conference schedule vs some other schools and realize they got a break in terms of SOS. Credit to them for beating Cincy but lets be honest, they had one of the weaker conference schedules.

UC has no one to blame but themselves for losing to a really mediocre Memphis team at home. That conference schedule of theirs is a laugher. Guess we were their big win for the season which is really not saying that much.

Memphis has a solid team. If they win today they deserve to be co champs with us. That said how many times has ucf beaten Memphis in a row? Fortunate for them we do not play this year.

Eventually, Memphis fans will get over the fact they likely have to share the conference title this year. If they don't like it, then maybe they shouldn't have lost to Houston at home.

In fairness though: ECU didn't have tp play Houston or Memphis; Cincinnati didn't have to play UCF; UCF didn't have to play Cincinnati or Memphis; Houston didn't have to play ECU. So every team got a break, because there were enough Tulane's, SMU's and Tulsa's to go around.

The AAC team that really got screwed by the schedule is Temple. Temple played every top team (Memphis, UCF, ECU, Houston and Cincinnati). I still don't understand why Tulsa was invited this year to the AAC, because it killed round robin play.

Now don't bring logic into this, it hurts the victim mentality.

Lol.

The team we blew out on their homefield, and ended the game by taking 3 knees at there 2 yard line is crying about Memphis schedule.

Just worry about @ Temple and Houston.

03-lmfao So we should apologize for the schedule we were assigned by the league?

I don't think so....
