Houston can't outrightly win the American. They would get to pick between 5 2-loss teams. (Cincy Memphis, UCF, Houston, and ecu) for Houston to be a possibility.

Boise, as long as they win the MWC. Losses by CSU and Boise would put NIU (if they win MAC) in a race with Memphis.
