If Marshall had scheduled up, then WKU wouldn't have had to give Ol Yeller the bullet to the forehead. It should never have cone to that, so I don't feel bad for Marshall fans.
In the long run, this was the absolute best thing to ever happen to CUSA.

I like Marshall. Don't misunderstand. However, you can't save the Princess on level one of Super Mario, and expect people to believe that you deserve to play in the BCS.

I think we can all agree on that. It would have made CUSA out to be a joke. Lets put this into perspective... WKU, God bless em, were recruiting to the Belch last year!!

I hate it for Marshall bc I think they were a great team, but what WKU saved CUSA was the embarrassment of having an undefeated team left out of the access bowl.

THAT would have been a blow to the conference. It's not Marshalls fault that was going to happen, but even if the Herd won out, they weren't getting into the New Year's Six.
