Ok, so were taking the University of Anchorage to secure Alaska, then U of Hawaii to take that state, then number 14 is University of Saskatchewan and then to round out La Universidad de Mexico.... we just secured two states and TWO COUNTRIES.

UAB as basketball only is a yes in my book. I feel like they are one of the only basketball only options we have that won't try to bring on other basketball only members. Any school from A10 and other basketball only conferences will try to eventually bring their former rivals in and then we will have the Big East fiasco again.

Why not add that school in Toronto that dominates Canadian Basketball, they've consistently beat, or taken top 25 ncaa teams to the wire in exhibitions.

With a fully functional conference, why do we need these recurring "flavor of the week" threads?

To be fair UMass had 2 A-10 rivals, Temple and URI, and Temple is already in the AAC. I can't see us begging for URI basketball only. VCU has only been in the A-10 for a few years I doubt they're attached to anybody.

And to all the AAC fans I'm not arguing you should add us, I love it but you seem fine as is. I'm just throwing my 2 cents in.

two reasons... because they have won more championships then any other canadien college... and two... and most importantly, if were going to make asinine additions then why not go with the one that has the best name... Saskatchewan. I just want to hear ESPN have to say it over and over.

I think the University of Newfoundland and Labrador is more to chew on. Plus their provincial dish is seal flipper pie. I could see them betting a plateful of that against some BBQ for the Memphis game.

UMASS will be heading to CUSA or the Sunbelt when this all shakes out.

The University of Mexico
This is not a joke, The University of Mexico used to play football. In fact in the 1960's, the University of Mexico played the University of NEW Mexico in a game....I don't know much, if anything about them, but I was hoping some of our more seasoned members like Old Tiger, Cotton, Grey Avenger could let me know.....Shere Kahn, you might know too. I've become more and more in awe of you ever since you pulled that Drake/Memphis gem from the early 70's out of your back pocket! Anyone?
