Some huge programs likely to have football openings. Memphis related as there will be movement. Zero issues if or when Fuente explores options.
My thought would be THOSE level of programs would not yet be an option. A level more like Texas Tech much more likely, but even them, would think they would want to see more than one good season. Here is hoping that we have more than one good season, even if the result is the Virginia, Texas Tech and Cal level programs come sniffing.
We cannot compete with the Michigans...we possibly can compete for a coach against the Virginias...pack the Liberty Bowl Saturday.
You are aware there is an incredible amount of non game playing discussion going on on this message board elsewhere I am assuming. Ask them to avoid bigger picture messages.

Had Nebraska lost, they might have an opening. I highly doubt a 9-3 season gets him fired unless they get blown out in the bowl game.
It isn't the first level of coaches, and possibly not the second level, but the third level of dominoes falling that has me worried.
Here is where a Peach Bowl game and especially a win could be a double edged sword. Trust me, I would much rather have that sword than wanting to fall on mine after watching another 3 win season... or worse!!!
Late rally may have saved Pellini...though they seem headed for his sixth or seventh consecutive good...4 loss...season...but their fanbase desperately wants back to the very top...
Simply believe no way one of those programs looks at a Fuente...but any program higher on the pecking order than Memphis you would think wants more than one good season before looking our way...as we do.

Don't be so sure. We thought the same thing at Kent State, and in 2012, KSU went to it's first bowl in 30 years. After his first winning season in his 2 years as a head coach, Purdue plucked Darrell Hazell. It just always comes down to personal preference and who says yes and who says no. Some mid-range P5 conference team might get turned down 2-3x and then Fuente is on their board. Just never know.
And while I doubt JF is a candidate for a Florida, Michigan, or Nebraska type job, there have been rumors Gundy from Oklahoma State might be on the move. I could see Justin landing a job like OSU. Again, who knows????

We are.
This is a discussion board. And the discussions in this thread have been civil. And have nothing to do with enjoying the Liberty Bowl game today or discussing the future.
As mentioned above, you should be aware that in one of our other sports, there are non stop often over the top mocking and disparaging non enjoyable discussions having nothing to with games themselves going on. Send your message that way...where people truly are not enjoying the ride, and are going out of their way, often being encouraged to do so, to take away even enjoying some extra discussions on this website...which used to be more of a nice addition to the live action.
Really...your point about just enjoy the ride...turn it to them...and see how they respond.

That is a major reach.
How so? What other staff was more complete and delivered the wins?
