You do realize the CEO of Walt Disney World is a UCF alum? And that there are many jobs at Walt Disney that aren't actually in Hospitality or hourly related positions (IT, HR, Finance, etc). So why is that a bad thing? I've never understood the negativity about being associated with one of the worlds most famous brands.

Surely you could do some graph about it though?

My argument wasn't "if", it was that you don't know what "apples to apples" means. Like I said, you are f'in dense! You can't compare how we each started our programs (in totally different times and landscapes of the game) and go and beat your chest. Keep hanging on to the past though, we live in the present and right now, this decade, we are 2-0 against usf (see how I can twist things around too)!!!

Actually I do data analysis for a living and baseline data of initial starting point is a typical place to start. You just don't like to compare it that way cause it doesn't work for you. You want to compare a team that had almost 20 years on the field to one that just started. That's BS and anybody who knows anything about analysis knows this... but I am only a Behavior Analyst so what do I know.... but you just go on with your denial. I love my Bulls. I hold my head high for all we have accomplished and how clean we did it.

Inventorying the freezer at McDonalds isn't data analysis, but nice try!!

And if you really do data analysis for a living than you should know how data and numbers can easily be misused:

http://knowledge.wharton.upenn.edu/artic...nipulated/

Oh, I see why your confused. USF degrees can be used for things outside of retail and restaurants. I know your not used to that considering you went to the lower ranked school but you see over in Tampa (not Disney University) we actually go out and work with our degrees.

I work within the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis. My job is to help shape and change behavior of children with learning disabilities and autism. Every day of my life I do data. Graphing is second nature to me.

You really should just stop..

"Every day of my life I do data" ... (WTF does that really mean?)

"Graphing is second nature to me" ...

So you took a class in Excel and can move a mouse. Congrats!

I feel sorry for those poor children if you are supposed to be helping them.

It means I work with statistical analysis everyday of my life. Jesus, I didnt know I was going to have to spell this out for you. Please tell me if you have a diagnosis so I can break this down to a level you'll understand?

I hold 3 degrees and a post graduate certification, along with 1,500 hours of residency, and 3 teaching certifications. In total, it was 192 credit hours... just a bit more than and excel class but I do rock at that too. It takes a level of skill to fully design an entire data collection tool that calculates prompt level, average level of response and auto graphs all the data.

and I am an amazing therapist. Everyone of my clients makes progress and I take great pride in what I do. I specialize in language and skill acquisition for young children diagnosed with Autism. I make great money, have an amazingly rewarding career and love going to work everyday. My degrees have really helped me and all the families I work with.

Ive got no issue with your graduates working there. Ive actually been fairly kind to your academics, even though your not rated as high as USF. My issue, as i have stated in other threads, is that I think that UCF looks like a Disney shopping mall.

My "negativity" statement was a generalization about associating UCF with Disney, not just your comment (despite what your massive ego may lead you to believe, you are not the first one to use the "Disney" card).

Disney is historically a very poor employer that treats their entry level employees like crap. If i were UCF I woudn't want to be associated with them.
This is me being very serious and not just trying to rial yall up, which is fun.

I have several people I know or work with that are employed by Disney. They do forced overtime, postponed pay raises, and out right fire employees when they hit the higher end of the pay scale, so they can replace them with cheaper labor. They truly are not an employee friendly business, so being called Dinsey-esque is really not something I would want.

Ha, I dont care if yall like me. I am proud of my degrees and what Ive accomplished. I wont even ask what you do but if someone questions my education, I am more then proud to say what I do.

Not a single person on earth can say a bad thing about someone who dedicates their life to help kids with disabilities.

He questioned my analytic skills and I simply pointed out that it is a central aspect of what I do every day. One of the main motto's of ABA is "if your not working data, then your not doing ABA". Its what sets us apart from the rest of the psychological field.

Stupid post. I knew USF was incapable of trampling anyone right now.

UCF has a better football program right now.

We can't even score a single point. We are so bad right now. We may have the worst program in the country. There is no hope for USF football with tag at helm.

O'leary is a great coach and UCF has a fantastic program who has left us in dust. The only question now is how many years if ever will it take to dig out. No progress is being made by tags. We're pathetic. We have no reason to talk about anyone's program. We have no discipline and no hope. We may have lost to several FCS teams today. 5 yards rushing. We can't score. We can't pass. We can't run consistently. We can't defend consistently. And we can't win.

Lol. My friend I don't cling to the past. Everything goes in cycles. I didn't go crazy when we were 4-0 and blasting you guys and I won't go crazy now with your two game winning streak.
Have fun enjoy the win at least for another year you guys can crow about it. Won't last forever
04-cheers

Just referencing the opening line, but hey all in good fun. The 64-12 loss was a hard one but I'll take it considering the state of the two programs. Since we're in the same conference I'm not really worried about USF considering USF hasn't won more than four conference games in a season in how long? They haven't won conference or division titles ever. Despite being in an aq conference for 9 years never went to a bcs bowl. So to sum up, it was bad but c'est all vie.

For all the crap you talk, you must remember that UCF has never played in a BCS/P5 conference. You essentially have won CUSA 3 times. I will give UCF props for your Fiesta Bowl win but to talk crap about how we didnt win within that conference... well your school has no idea how hard it is to win in that type of conference. You've never played a season at that level, so to even attempt to compare is complete BS. If UCF had gotten into the Big East instead of USF, you would have been pounded and had a very difficult time. If you had accomplished what we did, I would be surprised.

USiFs biggest issue is we got promoted too quickly and honestly I am ridiculously proud of what we accomplished. We were in a power conference within 4 years of being FBS and only after 7 years of total play, we were taking on the highest level of competition. We simply didn't have the donors, fan support and infrastructure in place to be able to compete and stay at that level.

Your program has been around since 79 and ours since 98 and yet we have played at a much harder and higher level. If we had stayed in CUSA I have no doubt we too would have won a couple championships. I cant prove it, but you cant prove you would have done any better within the Big East... and your top 10 teams you have beaten wont even compare to ours.

I am really happy with what we have accomplished within the time we have been a program. Your program is 18 years older and I guarantee we win the AAC by the time were that old... in fact, I guarantee we win it a couple times. 2016 is coming soon... thats the year USF is back and UCF sees us back where we were before.

4-2 67% of the time, were better.

Allow me to sum this up. And you call us UCiF, if what? If we beat you? If we won a BCS bowl? If we brought more fans to your stadium? If we won a championship? Seriously, if what? And we get it, everything's cyclical. That's why it's 4-2 not 6-0. Your team lost and you should eat your crow or have shred of dignity and just move on. You're really being hypocritical especially when you try to pass subjectivity off as fact. Be a man and take your lumps, then move on.

Too bad you feel that way. Id take some prozac and head to bed. All will be well in 2 years. Oleary is hardly a great coach. The man has had sanctions at every location he has ever been to. Having success doesnt make you a great coach. John Wooden was a great coach.

USF will be fine. Men and Womens Basketball is getting better already, baseball will be headed up. Mens and Womens soccer are very strong and football just had a better year then last. We add two more wins next year and were bowl eligible. 2016 my friend.

Surprised today's defense didn't give you some hope. That's alot of despair you have going on.

Awe, Jareds here. I wondered when you'd show up. So you read a couple posts and decided to jump in.

The topic of conversation has been overall program and my points have been made and are well supported. Not a single person has said anything to change them at all. UCF should be ahead of USF and for now, you got your second win. 4-2

I am way too tired to sum up the entire discussion. USF is still ahead in the series and will be for a while. Congrats on your win.

I like b ball but let's face it no one that matters gives a crap about basketball. 4 years with no hope. That's all we have.

I've actually been reading up on several of your threads, you can be condescending. It's okay, I'd be pissed too if I were on the other end of this. However, I would have just said good game and look forward to it next year. At the end of it all I'm glad you decided to man up. Thank you for the congrats. And you're responding to my response, hardly jumping in.

The Big East gets $4 million a year for it... USF used to get nearly 2/3rd of their income in the Big east from Basketball.

If the AAC continues to get stronger in Bball, it will increase our contract. So, some do care.

Oh, no you wouldnt. Ive been on this board long enough to know you would have gone to war also. You support your team just like I support mine. I just get tired of the UCF fans trying to say that USF hasnt accomplished anything and then try to compare the two programs based on what has happened in the last couple years.

The truth is, UCF is much older program and should be beating us. USF has over accomplished for years... but we also wont remain down forever and UCF wont reamain up. Every team eventually heads south. Ask Texas or any other former P5 power.

Even Oleary acknowledges its going to be hard for UCF to stay on top with the amount and level of talent your losing next year. So well see how it goes. This round went to you... but its still 4-2 :)
