Was talking about the game with my brother. We got on a roll and came up with the most improbable situation and were ROTFLMAO.

Tight game, back and forth. Neither team is dominating. NIU scores late to retake the lead by a point or two. Zach gets the offense rolling down the field in the final minute. Huskies rally on 3rd down to stop us. And then....Haldeman lines up for a career long 51 yard field goal. Bronco nation crosses its' fingers, closes its' eyes ("I can't bear to watch!").

You know the rest. Improbable hero. With little to no wind to contend with, the kick is long and straying towards that dreaded left upright. The ball hits the upright, carombs to the right, bounces off the crossbar, hits the right upright and.......goes through for the win!

Would be poetic justice, given how our MAC season began.

He's already hit a good one, yet missed Another XP

I'd actually love it for him, hate it for our hearts.

NIU may be the worst 9-2 team in DI football history.

If they win the MAC it's an embarrassment.

CD, your incessant bashing of NIU is just silly. Yeah, they don't look that impressive but they win. Had we won ugly today, I wouldn't be bothered. What matters is the W or L on the record and that record says that NIU is better than us. They proved it today. Yet you continue to berate a team that just beat us, as if that fact doesn't exist. Hint: NIU beat another team today (us) that had a winning record (as did UT) and did it on the road.

Say what you wish but you look like an idiot with your constant bashing. But you're used to it.
