No way you can pin this on the players. This is plainly awful coaching. Shaq and Austin have regressed as pastner's crappy coaching has eroded whatever game they developed in high school. Wish our AD would show some sack and respect for the season ticket holders by canning pastner now. Any mediocre high school coach would do better on an interim basis.

I am not putting it on the players but on the guy who assembled this team . There are at least 4 to 5 guys that have no business playing for memphis . Talent level has taken a hit along with the obvious lack of experience .

Yep. Their starting point guard was out and they still killed us.

I have defended Jp for the better part of 6 years....now there isn't much to say other than he hasn't really improved during that time . His substitutions are terrible ... His adjustments hardly ever work .

Uh No!....Even when Josh is in Full panic mode....and decides to play KI (He will only do it as a last resort to save his hide) he's going to yank him so fast that the kid wont break a sweat....There is no strategy here at all....If you noticed how comfortable Baylor players were executing there out of bounds plays/low TOs.....All without the starting PG


If Baylor is so terrible.......then 0-3 is in our future......

Baylor is decent but not great ... We are horrible in the memphis standard. Getting beat by 24 is inexcusable .

I have seen no rhyme reason or proof to agree with ^ statement made...Baylor is well coached;undefeated and played an eager Tiger team without the starting point guard, mind you....And still managed to dust us off pretty damn good.....What's the phrase when "you get beat by a one-legged man in an arse kicking contest"....You may need to find a different way to get your kicks! IJS ....Goodnight or morning or whatever the h_ll it is right now!

Baylor seemed average at best. I imagine they would be a lot better with their starting PG. They had no slashers that could create their own offense. They beat the hell out of us by getting open looks from 3 and out muscling us on the glass for 2nd chance points.

I'm on the fence with JP and his ability to take this program to the levels we all want.

We see the same issues, poor perimeter defense, inability to get defensive stops when we need then and HORRENDOUS outside shooting.

But shooting 3 of 15 from the field in the second half is not on the coach.
