Am I wrong? I have heard ODU's AD selling JMU to CUSA in public numerous times while we have a LU poster claiming that ODU is clamoring for LU to CUSA. Can people convince themselves of anything if they repeat a mantra enough times?

I am not a Liberty hater but the stones they are throwing calling JMU Radford with a stadium and this CUSA stuff is not good debate fodder, it's more sad than smack talk.

If JMU has strong attendance and wins it cements their position as the prime FBS invite. Poor attendance and win is a wash for JMU. Poor attendance and loss, big increase for LU. Poor attendance for LU and a loss, the only positive will be making the playoffs for the first time.

There is clearly more in this for LU than for JMU.

But my point is that wouldnt the fighting falwells be the reason, so to speak that those turnovers happened. If LU plays good defense and helps cause those turnovers then that shows that LU was just as prepared to make plays as JMU is to make a play. Thats all, not taking a shot, it just seems that if we are the cause of the problem that happens, then some credit should be issued.

my god, we're seriously talking about this? the game hasn't even started yet. you guys are seriously DYING for us to give you respect. it's not going to happen. win the game first, then we'll review what happened honestly. when we're genuinely beaten by a better team, we'll admit it.

I watched the movie "Rudy" last night for the first time. These Falwell U posters remind me of Rudy. Napoleon complex, desperately begging for and demanding respect, trying so hard to prove their worthiness in the playoffs. Failing, failing, failing, but finally get to suit up for the last game of the last season. Look for a diminutive Lib to sack Schiele, in for mop-up duty, on the last play of the game.

Not necessarily. A team can just have a bad game, get complacent, the stars align, whatever, and just drop balls, get butterfingers, throw uncharacteristic passes, and just give the ball away with no help whatsoever from the opposing team. I have seen it happen a thousand times.

Its a FCS Playoff football game 4bidn. Turner Gill is not Moses. He is not appealing to Pharaoh and challenging who's God is greater. On any given day, anything can happen. Just like what happened last week in Conway SC.

Get over it and let the teams play. But just curious, how much Crow will you be willing to consume if things bounce the way they have historically with this match up?
