Assistant Coaches
WTH are they doing...

Surely if this debacle is all due to coaching they see it and would try to correct it. 2 out of 3 have been on successful staffs previously.

RE: Assistant Coaches
This is the elephant in the room.

These are experienced coaches who have been on successful successful staffs.

Is Pastner not listening to them or letting them coach?

I cant believe that all these coaches can be this bad.

I noticed that Pastner and two others were doing a lot of coaching from the sidelines. It seemed very confusing to for the players to pay heed to three guys yelling directions at the same time.

Pastner was one of them, I think (?) Lawson was another. Oddly, the big bald white dude (Director of BB Ops, Julian Swartz) was the other guy. Seems odd that he would have such an active role in-game.

Wait the high school coach and the Dir of BB ops where the ones helping. That seems strange.

Julian is the only staffer Josh really listens to. I've stated that here before. It's the same dynamic he had with Murphy.

Yup.

I just went back and looked at the replay to verify. If someone hasn't deleted it yet, look at how often those three are yelling over each other. Very confusing.

Also, where were/are Aki and Kirby? From the press table down the bench it was Pastner, Swartz, Lawson, Brad Anderson and Evarist.

Aki may have been towards the middle of the bench, but I'm not positive. Can't find Kirby.

This. A big reason why Damon left. Even more than returning to his alma mater

Yikes. My dad was always a big tough guy. Kidney stones made him scream like a little girl. I seriously thought he was dying...

I wonder why he is so controlling...He made it seem like he was so trusting and delegated gameplans to others when he first started. I don't hear him saying he does that any longer.

When he went with the "if you have a question about basketball ask me" last year in a postgame tirade he had officially lost it imo
