So much for ULM being a contender
Lost tonight to Robert Morris by 17. Robert Morris has lost to Lafayette (Patriot League) by 27 and to UNC by about 50.
The night before ULM lost by 13 to Coastal Carolina.

Regardless, of the preseason results the Sun Belt teams will beat each other up as always. I really have no clue how the league will go, but I am hopeful we will finish in the top 4- and believe top 2 is not out of the question. Hopefully, GaSt won't totally dominate the league again, because they aren't getting an at-large bid regardless.

ULM will be an SBC contender.

I figure so. If they can learn to be more consistent, they could be real trouble.

I agree that out of conference performance is not always a very good indicator of conference performance. Remember that ULM took Florida to overtime in Gainsville. But assuming that no one from the SBC is going to get an At Large bid is a pretty safe bet.

I would say the chances are practically nil.
