Hey, they're playing on Thanksgiving day again! (Of course, they're not playing each other.) LSU leads A&M 17-7 and TCU beating up UTexas 20-3.

In other news....dancing carrot still dancing, though.

Halfway through the 3rd Quarter, A&M still up on UTexas 7-3. UTexas with the ball...A&M on defense....in their respective games!

Swoopes just threw and INT, and then, when in on the tackle, helped force and then recovered the fumble. Loss of yards, but a first down.

Swoopes doesn't have the mental capacity to play QB at a Division I school. Makes me glad that we have a guy like Driphus who is having the relatively mistake-free year that he's having. I'll be shocked if we face a Swoopes-led UT squad in the fall.

Meanwhile, there's a new king of the hilltop: SMU is reportedly hiring Clemson OC Chad Morris as their new HC.

A$M now tied 10-10 with UTexas halfway through the fourth quarter.

In the other game, TCU now leads LSU 27-20.

Oops! A$M scores, now leads 17-10 over UTexas.

Just a few minutes left, TCU lead down to 27-23 over LSU.

A&M holding at 17-10 late in 4Q.

Just over a minute left.

TCU now up 34-23 over LSU.

A$M maintains 17-10 lead over UTexas. Both teams on offense.

Wow! TCU really pouring it on. Now up 41-23 over LSU who has given up playing.

Other game has A&M 17-10 over UTexas. A&M seems to have given up playing and UTexas with the ball. Daring them to score!

And....looks like Texas wants to go back on defense instead of trying to score!

With the TCU score 41-10 and TCU kicking off, I was going to post that they were still 3 points shy of the O/U. Then I look back up and it's 48-10 and TCU is kicking off again.

Man, Texas sucks this year. They should be ripe for us to beat them next season. Of course if we do, it's probably not the same as a true signature win. For two reasons: We've played them a lot, and people will figure we were due anyway, and they are pretty bad-looking sometimes these days, so people nationally have lost a lot of respect for them.

And the finals:

TCU 48-23 over LSU

A&M 17-10 over UTexas.

or to look at it another way:

TCU beats Texas 48-10; LSU beats a$M 23-17.

See them in the Texas bowl this year?

Officials in the Aggie missed an offsides call that led to INT to end the possible go ahead drive on what he Aggies and announcers thought was a free play. Looks like they had to bring in CUSA officials on the Holiday.

I dunno. It's really close. It's the kind of thing that's usually called but was he actually offsides?

The angles looking directly down the one of scrimmage show he was.

In realtime it looked even more certain. The Ags, the announcers and most everyone in the stands thought they had a free play. This was not the only questionable call or non-call on the night by this crew, going both ways.
