If Washington shows up tonight, we win. Get him playing right and get lee going, we are going to be good

The Watts/Baxter 1-2 duo was great to beat the pressure. They really took care of the ball in the second half. As much of a black hole as Brown has been, he played well tonight. I wish he could've gotten more touches in the last two minutes. Florida took the D up another notch and we had nothing.

RE: Gator Thread
Two consecutive possessions where UF turned up the
defensive intensity so high our guys had to sling junk at the basket. UF earned this one

This team still has a ton of issues, but overall, that was a much better effort

A definite improvement and something to build on.

Robert Brown is shooting 23% from 3pt and 80% from the foul line. Take it to the hole Rob.

I would say the least amount of mistakes in the second half. The first half was a shitshow all around. When we held them scoreless for 8 minutes or whatever it was, we really should have opened up a double digit lead. A ton of positives tonight.

Mehinti played fantastic. We need to run our offense through him more often.
Brown played well in my opinion. The shooting wasn't great, but he did a little bit of everything.
The watts/Baxter duo almost won it for us. I'm not sure why we went away from what was working with the game on the line.
I thought cokley played well when he was in, not sure why he was seemingly pulled.

We can tell Lee hasn't been playing. He is just a step or two behind where he needs to be. He plays hard out there though, and I'm sure it will all come together.
One sequence in the second half, cj got the ball by the basket and missed it once or twice, getting the rebound and finally putting it in. Can you please stay down there cj?
Norton showed signs of being a freshmen finally. I hate to see it, but it is great experience for him.

Basically, this team could have come out and lost by 30 Again, and nobody would have been shocked. Instead, they played their asses off and were in it until the end. I'm proud of what these guys did and I'm proud of coach Haase, because his defensive game plan was outstanding last night.(even though I've been told he can't coach)
