Emerald Classic
Middle Tennessee has somehow managed a 3-1 start, and as part of the Emerald Classic will play Cincinnati tomorrow, so we're going to find out a lot about this team this weekend. Ole Miss plays Creighton with the winners meeting for the EC title. Creighton clearly is the team that appears to be the best at this point in the season heading into the semifinals.

This classic is part of a four-game set with the four of us hosting two games each. All four of us went 2-0 in those first two games.

I have low expectations considering we have struggled against some lesser competition though we did beat Ole Miss in a pre-season scrimmage for whatever that's worth. But I won't be surprised if we lose both games.

Combined records of these four teams right now is a sterling 15-2. Should be a fun tournament even if we get our asses kicked. Too bad we didn't have one of these last year or year before when we could have actually won the damn thing.
