OK, these are just some observations about the kind of offense we run and have run for the last few years.
IMO, we need a hibrid system between what DM and FH run. It seems that Haiths offense is mostly 4 out and one in (meaning one post) or 5 out and none in. That basically means its just a drive and shoot offense if we need a high % shot. The reason for this may be that FH has decided we are soft in the post and we probably are, but we also give up rebounding position and the ability to get second shots/tipins etc. Also, there just isn't much movement on the floor which would allow us to clear out an area. But I'm old school on that thinking. Most people now want to recruit all these kids that are basically schoolyard ballplayers with the great skills. They are basically convinced that individual skill cancels out offensive teamwork. Perhaps it does if you have Lebron James, but we don't and never will. So IMO, in order to get points and get them when we are outskilled, we need that "team" movement. Even OSU had more movement than us last night and they were just as skilled. Until this happens, we are just going to rely on defense alone.

Haith needs to run a bunch of outside passing drills where there are two on one and drills where someone dribbles into the lane then passes back out of it when defended. We are not very good at these. It has already been established that we TU isn't a scoring machine. An even bigger problem is we struggle to run plays to setup the offense in order to score. You need some easy setups for shooting. We get few of those.
