All new except for the upper decks.

$207M for 65,000 seats.

They need to finish it and put seats in the upper deck. I think it's 61,000 as shown. There are temporary bleachers that can be placed in the north end zone to get to 65,000

upper deck is pretty steep, don't know how well seats would work up there.

Overall it looks great. It was really looking like a crap hole just a few years back, though I am suprised it took that much money to do what they did.

They rebuilt the whole stadium outside of the upper deck. They didn't just do a refresh

I think they needed it otherwise they were going to lose bowl games like the Capital One..
Birmingham needs to do same with Legion Field but I doubt that will happen.

Birmingham is attempting to finance a Dome, which is a good thing considering the weather there.

Think that bubble burst and they aren't building anything now

I've read Orlando may try and poach the Jacksonville Jaguars in a few years. Rebuilding the Citrus Bowl is part of that plan. Don't know if it's true or not but that's an awful lot of money for a couple of ball games a year. On another note, I saw a AA Orlando Twins game at Tinker Field, which sat right next to the Citrus Bowl, in the late 70's. Is that stadium still there. It was a great old time stadium.

Doubt the Jaguars could move to Orlando. The Bucs territory extended 75 miles east of RJS which I belive includes Orlando.

I think you are correct...the Bucs would have to agree to them moving there. I think it would be great though to have rivalry with Orlando though.

Need to put blue chairs in upper deck asap. Looks terrible without them.

That's a nice looking stadium. UCF should think about moving back into the Citrus Bowl. It probably has nicer amenities than their on-campus stadium.

The lower bowl looks great. The contrast between the upper deck and lower bowls looks stupid. Need updated seats in upper deck asap.

If the downtown campus does indeed grow to 15,000 students, I don't think a home game there every few years (and a a basketball game at Amway) will become out of the question. Nothing yearly though, at least not in football.
