Black Friday & Cyber Monday Purchases
I know the game is on Friday, but is anyone waking up early to get some stuff? I'm trying to think of some ideas since things will be cheaper than normal.

Huskie fans will be shopping for a Huskie victory on Friday morning. For those who seek additional stress and anguish, the stores will still be open after the game.

I'd pay full price for a Huskies Victory!

RE: Black Friday Purchases
Savings really arent that great to suffer through all that BS. I'd either shop the pre-black friday sales in-store and online now or wait until Cyber Monday. A lot less stressful

RE: Black Friday Purchases
lol. FINE. I renamed the thread. What are you guys buying / What should others be on the lookout to buy?!?!

Here is a list of things I've thought of so far that I may or may not buy (depending on price changes):
1. ASUS RT-N68U Router (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...833320091R)
2. Audio Technica ATH-A900X Headphones http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005TCZ...YZAYRQ6AZP
3. Maybe a 2nd Roku

This is actually me and my gf right now (first apartment, and sort of broke, but we've been saving for a while so we can afford a splurge here).

Ohh I like your taste in stuff. I've moved away from Roku though... although I enjoyed it when I had it. I use full sized blurray rips which 1) roku chokes on the bitrate and 2) doesn't do hd audio.

I have on my desk a brand new Nexus Player for the living room (not home theater) for casual use/gaming... it has its issues but I have high hopes for it so I'll give it a try. The wife and I like our chromecast. Will probably move that downstairs (home theater) for netflix/casual streaming and use the nexus player upstairs.

ANYWAYS - It looks like I'll be standing in line like a chump at Binnys to get my Bourbon County Stout this year on black Friday. My local shop isn't big enough for InBev so they might be getting some late.

RE: Black Friday & Cyber Monday Purchases
Never done Black Friday, never will. My mother and sister do it every year and every year I tell them they're crazy.

Cyber Monday on the other hand, I'm all over that.

04-cheers

I thought about buying the nexus player, but I don't really find myself wanting to stream to my TV that often (if I want to stream, I just watch it on my laptop or my 27 inch Desktop monitor). My TV is a 32 inch, so really there isn't that much of a difference... Plus, I get better quality on the Monitor since I don't have to stream it over air. I think that if the Nexus player becomes 'more mainstream' and developers start making things for it, it will be worth it. I don't want to invest too early, because it looks like there are some things that it's still missing. Looks promising, though!
