What were your expectations at this early date? They're still coming off sanctions, and their Freshmen are just getting their feet wet. UCF will really benefit from their 2015 class.
Whether you realize it or not, this league has a little growing to do, as many of our new members recruiting prowess under the new conference banner starts to take effect.
It's not an overnight deal (especially for what UCF is dealing with), but the uptick in recruiting for those programs will start to bear out. Till then, I recommend you learn to hold your water. You just got here.

We can all agree on that.

Losing to Oklahoma State isn't the problem. Losing to Oral Roberts is the problem.
My prediction: 3 NCAA bids + 2 NIT bids for the AAC. I think Cincy and UConn get it done in conference play. The other 3 postseason teams (excluding CBI/CIT) will be surprise hits.

Someone's not happy today......wonder if we could beat CBU
You can keep bringing up a game that doesn't count but getting brutalized by UNC Ashville, Green Bay, and Hawaii doesn't help the AAC.
It's OK for SMU to say, oh we have a starter out. Cincy to say, were young. And whatever Memphis' excuse is. But we have 2 starters out, and 7 new players.
Green Bay would beat the bottom half of the AAC. We could've beaten both Hawaii and UNCA. Not sure what your definition of brutalized is.
I think the difference for Cincy is saying "We're young" but we're still winning. Hard to argue with results. Admittedly ugly and against so-so comp, but we also played a well coached team yesterday that returned 4 of 5 starters from an NCAA tournament team that dominated their league and won 27 games last year. There are no D-2 teams on our schedule, that's for sure.
We'll find out a lot more about UC on Friday/Saturday in the tournament this weekend. Win there, and I can start to feel this team can really put it together.

I am still waiting on Lebo to take you guys to the NIT. I guess I will wait and see. We got a big game against Baylor so let's see how much progress we have made.

How can we be a dissapointment if nothing was expected to begin with? We have a whopping 8 scholarship players left since Matt Williams is out for the season and we are just getting off scholy reductions.
We're in a situation where our freshman (Taylor, Henriquez) are already the best and most talented players on the team. That's because Donnie is finally recruiting worth a crap.
UCF basketball won't be any good until at least next year, and more likely the year after that. There's big time talent coming in but it will take time to get them playing well together.
In the meantime, we have many 30 point losses ahead of us.
