Lady Monarchs beat Va Tech on the road 69-62. Jennie Simms lead ODU's balanced attack with 21. ODU had 4 players in double digits.

as a plus the Hokies are getting crushed by Northern Iowa in Cancun.

ODU owns VT in basketball. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Just getting home from the game. It's always tough to go into enemy territory and get a win, but I helped to carry the Monarch Nation flag into Hokieville. I came away impressed with our Ladies. They worked really hard all night and didn't fold when VT made a run late. They do have some work to do, but after the Duke loss, they refocused and got a huge win on the road. Simms, if she can control her game and stay focused, will be a really special player for us.
Any day we beat the Hokies is a great Monarch day! Heck, Thanksgiving is upon us. Eat a turkey! Go Monarchs!

Good win for the ladies. George Mason had already beaten VT this year, so I think they are very suspect. Its always nice to beat a Power 5 school though.
