Want to Buy Club Seats - 11/29
I was hoping to buy club seats for Saturday since I will be bringing my father-in-law. This would allow him the option to take some "warmth" breaks should it be very cold. I am also interested in possibly purchasing a P-lot parking pass.

I emailed the athletic department and they are unwilling to sell the club seats per-diem. Seems strange since its a good bet there will be a few unsold.

So then I figured I would buy the club seats off of StubHub, but our game does not exist on StubHub as of yet. If anyone has any club seats they are looking to get rid of, please let me know...I am more than happy to pay what they are worth.

Once I get my seats set up, I am planning on purchasing some extra tickets for donations to local charities.

Also, just wanted to say great job to the Athletics Department and all involved for securing this home game!

i wonder if that will change after today.

Tuesday was the deadline they gave for season ticket holders to tell JMU whether they wanted them for Saturday or not. And since all club seats I believe were spoken for during the year, they are probably not going to release any per diem until after today.

Logic would dictate that their sales strategy would change after all of the "guarantees" are fulfilled today. If they've had the foresight to set up the donation of tickets, I'd hope they have the same foresight to sell more expensive seats if they are still available.

However, I also asked if I could just pay for a lower convo pass and was told no. I know for a fact that lot never comes close to filling up. So who knows.

I don't get their thinking sometimes either. Last week I had friends who purchased 13 tickets for the one game and wanted a Convo pass to tailgate with me, but the ticket office would only sell them an R1. The ticket office lost a sale as they decided to park in the upper free Convo lot, backed their SUV up to the hill and walked down to my spot with their food, tables and stuff as I just parked right below them. It was a 50 foot walk, but they were willing to pay to not have to do that and were turned down. I could see it if it were Homecoming or Family Weekend, because the CONVO does fill up for those events.

Precisely my situation and my plan. When I had season tickets and was in that lot, it never even came close to capacity. The only time it got crowded in that lot was on big weekends where students would walk down there to avoid the longer lines at the porto-johns in the upper convo area.

RE: Want to Buy Club Seats - 11/29
Just wanted to bump this up.

Called Athletic department this morning...they are definitely not going to put club seats up for sale individually unless you are a "director's level donor." I have had this conversation with JMU Athletics and other people from this board before: I live 400 miles away and coach HS football. If either of those situations did not exist, I would 100% be a club season ticket holder.

Our game is now listed on Stubhub, so if anyone is a "director's level" donor and is willing to buy 2 club seats and put them on Stubhub, let me know. I will buy them off of Stub-Hub 5 minutes after you list them.

Thanks

FYI- this might help for the Convo pass situation. See if you can buy a single ticket and get a pass - it might have to come on as another person.

This was the only way we could get 2 Convo parking passes for our season tickets. We had a family pack (4 tix) and had another party pick up a single ticket and also get the pass.
