Oh good Gawd November BB polls area about as relevant as a stone spear.

...and he's right. A vote for us is sheer lunacy at this point and a sign that maybe you shouldn't be voting.

I don't know. Yeah, Gary has a right to poke fun of Memphis and lambast anyone who voted for them in the polls, but do we really need a national pile-on right about now?

If I saw some poor shlub getting his ass whooped in the street, I wouldn't feel compelled to walk over and kick him in the face with my steel-toed boot. That's essentially what Parrish is doing here.

We look like a team that hasn't practiced very much together...and that is the case. We've had a bad run of injuries through the preseason when we are supposed to be gelling...with 10 new rotation players, that's going to be hard to overcome. That said, we still look like a bad team. No where near top 25...I'd say not top 50 right now.
Hopefully, it's a result of not playing/practicing together at full strength. Hopefully, our guys get together, figure it out, and come January we look like a different team

Considering how some of the top 25teams have played, there iare plenty of other teams to gripe about in this article than some team ithat started the season unranked and who is simply getting votes.

Actually, no one, especially media, should POKE FUN at a college team.

Want to comment that perhaps their play against Wichita State does not merit a top twenty five vote, or if you are a douchebag, want to comment about an exhibition game and slower developing guard play, feel free.

But mocking college kids in the same manner fans would mock professional athletes or even coaches to a lesser degree is base, low rent, weak journalism, attention getting and basically embarrassing for the writer who is seeking comments only.

Journalist chasing after message board style. Have to love it. We win.
