Where is my FN bowl watch.
I'm FN pissed. The season isn't over, and I have not been updated on how we could possibly be screwed.

RE: Where is my FN bowl watch.
Ha!
I'll give you the full scoop when I get back in town tomorrow, but, we want:
Marshall to go undefeated and get the access bowl
Kentucky to lose to Louisville
Tennessee to lose to Vandy--but don't hold your breath
Okie State to lose to Oklahoma
As many SEC teams in the CFP Bowls as possible.
Unfortunately, MT's comeback win got them to six wins. We would be team #7 to qualify, so we need two vacant bids. Those two would come from Marshall making a CFP Access Bowl, and either the Military (Okie St loss opens it up) or Independence (4 SEC teams in CFP bowls or 3+Kentucky loss opens up)

RE: Where is my FN bowl watch.
C-USA confirmed today that 7+ win teams are chosen first. So Marshall, LA Tech, and Rice are already guaranteed.
WKU has 6 and needs to beat Marshall to get 7.
MTSU and UTEP have 6 and play each other. One will finish 7-5, the other 6-6.
So IF the Blazers win they will be fighting with WKU and MTSU/UTEP for 1 guaranteed bowl slot. 2 slots if Marshall gets the Access Bowl.
I'm sure FN will be much more in depth tomorrow.

And you can pretty much lock UTEP in the New Mexico Bowl. I also believed MTSU is a lock for Boca according to some of the reports coming out of Murfreesboro. So it will basically be WKU and UAB fighting for a bowl slot if one is available and if UAB wins Saturday.
