video of Kalamazoo-area 'daily red light runner' gets police attention

ThAt was a disturbing video. I drive there all the time.

Who's taking the video? I find it unlikely that they are not part of this.

If so then they are incredibly stupid as they showed the vehicle's license number. With that, the authorities know who owns the car and where to start the investigation. Hoax or not, crimes were broken and they have it on camera.

Yeah, that's far too many "being at the right place at the right time." Hope I'm wrong.

Also hope the driver gets a little time behind bars. That's not a one time 'I was running late to work' lapse of judgment. Make an example of him.

He got to hone his system among relatively polite Kzoo commuters. I'd like to see him try pulling those antics on a daily basis on Telegraph or Van Dyke in Detroit where he'd be surrounded by short fuses.

The problem is if the video can't be authenticated (whether it was doctored or not) it's not admissible in court.

Put him in a room with cops staring at him for about four hours until the public defender rallies to get him cut loose. Betcha the kid sings like a canary before that happens.

Maybe for a murder case. No one's going to bother over reckless driving.

Cooley Law... was the modern proliferation of web board libel claims against bored, anonymous posters. In fact, if one were so inclined, one could make quite a lucrative law practice on little else. How is everyone feeling tonight?
