You're misunderstanding. I actually like Marshall. You give us a good rival. However, today was the best thing that could have happened to CUSA. It was embarrassing when we hired a publicity firm to plead the Marshall case for the access slot. It just didn't look good. AT LEAST NOW WE CAN SAY THAT A CUSA MID-TIER TEAM BEAT THE HERD, instead of being embarrassed on New Years Day. This helps us build WKU

Yes, because those teams (such as NC State and Va Tech) know, with a very high probability, that they can beat you. P5 teams don't want to schedule Marshall, since Marshall could beat a pretty large number of them.
