Huskies Broncos Predictions
Mine as well get this going now:

Huskies 34
Broncos 27

It could easily be the other way around.

Go Huskies!

RE: Huskies Broncos Predictions
NIU won't win this by a large margin. Quite frankly, I don't think WMU will either. Neither team is good enough, nor bad enough, to be totally dominant or dominated.

This will be a slugfest from the first kick. It will come down to who can make the key plays, who can avoid costly mistakes and turnovers, who can reach down for that little bit extra that it takes to win a game like this.

NIU 24
WMU 21

RE: Huskies Broncos Predictions
Does anybody think WMU is talented enough to beat NIU going away without NIU having a bunch of turnovers? Is there any reason to believe NIU is going to start turning it over? Is there any reason to believe NIU doesn't find a way to win if it's close?

Huskies 27
Broncos 24

I hope it's with the wind and 25 yards out!

I believe our pass D is fully capable of being lit up by a semi proficient QB. I also am skeptical of our offense's ability to come from behind from a multi score deficit when we're forced to be more pass heavy. Not saying either will happen vs. WMU. But would not be surprised by either.

I know people like to act NIU hasn't improved at all since the start of the year, but I think both Logan and Brooks have been really solid the last 4-5 games. The LBs are good and the line is solid as well. The defense as a whole has put together 4 straight really solid efforts. Is part of that level of competition? Yes, but overall the defense has been fairly reliable all year.

Have we heard if Bass will be back, that would be a lift as well....

I'm looking for us to play the best game of the year. Although we have to use all our offense weapons and keep Maddie off the field. Would also like to use the entire field and that includes the middle. Huskie win not as close as some think.

Seems like a good time to point out NIU hasn't lost a MAC road game since 2009.

2011 game against CMU was the last road MAC game NIU lost.

Unless you consider the 47-27 loss in the 2013 MACC against BGSU, also in the state of Michigan.

I know Toledo isn't used to playing in Championship games, but we call those "neutral site" games.

I think its going to take 35+ to win. Either wmu will make 2 fg's or miss an extra point. not sure which one is more likely.

I think NIU has won a couple on the road at Toledo in recent years. 03-nutkick
