logistically tough since there's no MRD practice all week this week.

Don't own anything long sleeve that is black. And even if I did, wouldn't wear it. Like s bunch of other have said, I'll be wearing purple. When black becomes a school color, then will consider wearing black.

Forget "Back in Black"....this is one game where AC/DC's "Hells Bells" would make a perfect intro song for when the Dukes run onto the field...and for special effects it would be nice to hear the intro "bell" at the beginning of the song emmenate from the Wilson cupola. Even the intro lyrics fit what the team is preparing to do the Flames.

Wearing purple and black. I only have one black JMU polo. Let's just make sure we get enough people there. I'm worried Liberty may take over our stadium with this being their first playoff appearance and our students being lithargic.

Ok, I'm subjecting everyone to this one.

I used to share my seats with my pastor. Early one season we're sitting there at the start of the halftime show. The MRD's start playing something that's a bit unrecognizable. My friend and my wife start discussing what it might be, and conclude that it sounds like some old hymn. Now, I confess, I s*ck in the category "Old Hymns." And I've always been really annoyed at religious functions where someone leading the singing says something like, "Put down the hymnals, we all know this one." Well, no, schmuck, we don't all know it. Isn't that why we have the hymnals?

So,they ask me if I think what they're playing is (INSERT NAME OF SOME OLD HYMN). Maybe not at that exact moment I was pouring some Canadian whiskey into my Coke. But I like to remember it that way. Anyway, I said, ”All I know is it sounds kind of like Meatloaf's "Bat out of Hell" to me. Shortly followed by the MRD brass blasting out the unmistakable chorus to "Bat out of Hell." So please excuse me if I have a soft spot in my heart for that one. :-D
