What would it take for every SB school to play everyone in conference in football. Never really liked divisions because of that.

Drop one member and play a nine game schedule or drop two members.

UAB Drops Football, CUSA decides to add Georgia State because of the very large media market. Sun Belt responds by dropping Idaho, and adding NMSU all sports. 9 teams left...8 game schedule.

I would much rather get to twelve and get a championship game, though.

Twelve would be nice, but if that means adding a mediocre FCS program, then I'm in no hurry to get a twelfth school.

The only way to get to 12 at this point without adding an FCS is to add UMASS to an Eastern Division. Which, btw, would be no more ridiculous than having Idaho in the West.

In fact, it is much less ridiculous. Amherst is closer to Mobile, the farthest east team, than Moscow is to Las Cruces, the closest west team.

That's why I've thought that the UMass problem wasn't so much UMass but the fact that we already have two remote football only members.
