We did not need him in 2nd half and I think we could win with Munchie but if Munchie got hurt?

I guess Evans is still dragging his criminal charges out plus he would be so rusty.

He has a nagging lower back/rib injury but he was held out of the second half due to the high school team they were playing more than anything else.

He was also going to the locker room, after it got to 34-0.

How important is the option to our offense?

I think we score plenty without. I hold my breath every time he takes off.

I agree about getting nervous when Kiel runs it. That said, he is good at it and it is constantly available for yards. Gunner just needs to slide more, which he finally started doing last night.

I think it's one of those little things you have to do to be successful. If there is absolutely no threat of a QB running, it would adversely effect our RBs and WRs. And ironically, Kiel gets hurt when he's in the pocket, not the run plays.
