Last Home Game what can be done?
The ticket department should do everything possible to get a big crowd next week. Once the ticket office was proactive and gave out free basketball tickets when we had ice and snow hit

1. Free tickets?
2. $1 tickets
3. 2 tickets for $5
4. Buy 4 football tickets and receive 2 free basketball tickets to a basketball game

All the diehards should do their part and invite family, friends, etc to the game also. This is a conference championship team, these seniors deserve a big crowd.

We need to do everything possible to get the crowd there. It's a tough weekend to attract a crowd, but our guys definitely deserve it. One good thing is the Egg Bowl lost some significance today.

Last Home Game what can be done?
It's like they said on the post-game broadcast. We individually need to make it happen. I had people use all 7 of my tickets yesterday and had to find 2 more for folks who came to my tailgate needing tix. Invite somebody, and if necessary, buy them a ticket. It's only $10 for goodness sake. If each of the 35, 000 who were there for USF brings one extra person next week, that's 70, 000. That's the way to make it happen.

I'm bringing people that I don't even like I'm bringing so many people. I've never been to a Thanksgiving weekend football game, but I'm coming back to Memphis early in effort to drag everyone I know out to the game.

RE: Last Home Game what can be done?
This is the last home game for a special group of players that turned the program around. They deserve everyone's support. What about finding a youth group in the inner city that would really appreaciate some $10 tickets? You might even have a tax write off as well. Or a high school football team? There are lots of propects out there that would appreactiate a free ticket and would actually show up and be vocal for the Tigers.

Good ideas, but our basic problem, insufficient pride, developed over decades. Winning helps a lot, but long-term problems require long-term solutions, one of which is attention to detail. Our military knows this.

Note that I don't say attention to details solves everything - only that it helps foster pride, the lack of which is a major problem. Consistency in the brand colors is one item on a long list of details which can be improved upon.

I'm sorry. This is never going to happen. The beer is $7 per at the moment. MAYbe a $5 beer section, but what's the point in having a "section"? That would just make the lines long in that section, and shorter everywhere else.

We actually need media that get the word out. Instead, we have media that revel in our failures.

And save me the "that's not the media's job" stuff...media <> journalism anymore.

A beer belt solves this issue

RE: Last Home Game what can be done?
For those coming, please stay until the game is over. The tigers are going to complete the mission. Just having everyone there at the end, they will notice. Then let the tigers hear how much you enjoyed this year. Sing the fight song with the team. Scream, yell, whistle or just clap but don't rush the field. I can only ask that our hardcore fans set an example to all other fans. I know our hardcore group is between 15k and 20k. There was only 5k left at the end of last night's game. Might have been 2k left after the tulsa home win.

30 second TV ad promoting the last home game on all the local channels

Would reach over 2 million potential viewers within driving distance
