RE: Calfornia tourney games
Game is on Channel 694 FoxSports San Diego (FSSD) on Directv. Need to subscribe to the Directv Sports Pack to get this channel. I will be upgrading for a month so I can watch the game. Go Broncos!

RE: Calfornia tourney games
I'm looking forward to watching Bronco basketball on ESPNU on Thanksgiving night! In general, I'm excited to see how we do on this West Coast trip. I think we'll have a much better indication of how good we may be after these four games.

I guess I had the Sports pack drop somehow since last basketball season. Just resigned up and 694 works 04-cheers

RE: Calfornia tourney games
I watched most of the game at San Diego and the Long Beach game. I did not see the San Jose State game or the San Diego rematch.

As ugly as the Long Beach game was for 30 minutes, we still had a chance to grab that game by the reigns. Unfortunately, we didn't, and Long Beach did thoroughly in the final eight minutes of that game. We're probably not going to beat anyone shooting 3-for-24 from 3, but IMO it's important that we continue to rotate the ball, make the extra pass, and look to take open shots because I do think it's one of the strengths of our team.

From what I read, Tava had a strong game in the San Diego rematch. That didn't surprise me. He really struggled in the game at San Diego and I don't doubt that he was highly motivated to bounce back with a strong performance getting a second chance against them. Like last year, I don't think it's a coincidence that when Tava struggles, we struggle.

We need to continue to improve, especially on the defensive end. IIRC my preseason prediction was 18 wins (make that 19 now counting Rochester), and I still think that sounds about right. The upper half of the MAC isn't going to be scared of us, but by the same token, I'm not all that scared of anyone in the MAC at this point. So far, I've probably been most impressed with Buffalo, Bowling Green, and Akron. IMO Toledo has been a huge disappointment so far.
