Duke94, deep, very deep. Sarcasm will not mask the reality that in a few hours JMU we will know if JMU is LU, possibly at LU. Try as you like to discredit the achievement of LU making the playoffs for the first time, on the road, beating CCU with a quarterback making only his second start. If you continue to play with Photoshop to mock another team, to elicit a response from your brethren to agree with you, you're running on a pretty empty tank. Mock LU for their ethical/moral positions while others discuss OL, DL, LB, special teams and more. You are playing with fire my boy! But maybe you are just getting that match thing.

Okay guys. I know this may be a stretch but I am not a LU alum, am in my 60s, own a small business in SWVA, enjoy college football, am from Lynchburg, and have watched their program grow. When the program started, I went to games at old City Stadium when Tom Dowling was coach. I stumbled with them for years, as a football fan, not with their past idiotic stances and actions. I don't agree with LU on most all points stated on this board as LU has a past history of dumb, unwise moves. So everyone agrees.

I'll bet your coaches are placing emphasis on "xs" and "os" rather than their stances and beliefs. If you keep this up, you are likely to have you ass placed on a platter. Oh and I graduated from App State, not online U. You are swaying me to wanting a JMU/LU game.

Watched the end of the CCU/Liberty game on ESPN3. I'm not thin by any stretch of the imagination, but the sheer amount of morbid obesity in the Liberty section was horrifying. CAN Y'ALL HOOK UP SOME FRIED CHICKEN AT THE TAILGATE SATURDAY? Don't lie. You can.

I love the smack talk and going back and forth on this message board. I think Spiderfather is a genius, and I can't stand ODuh etc. However, I think the photoshopped LU pic is over the line. It's the caricature of Jesus and their deceased founder that does it for me. That's just my opinion on it, and it will not impact my fandom either way. I love that we have an active board and fans who care enough to do stuff like that, but I believe it lacks in taste. It's just my opinion.

I think Dukes94 just got a little juiced up after a long overdue return to campus.

I responded to the idiotic post of Duke94 because, I could see this guy saying, "I know what I'll do, I'll use this team photo from the LU win, doctor it with extreme images, and do my best to mock and discredit the LU win. I'll spend time finding mock images, edit them onto players, place the post on the BBS, place a mocking post name, and wait until my mates, see and provide me gratification by my action". Deep, very deep.

And talk about getting a life and one having lots of free time. It must be fun living in mom's basement using her internet and using your time mocking a probable opponent. I only responded because I knew those that replied and agreed would only dig deeper this waste of time post. BTW, if you would posted something with merit I would done like most others and just read and not replied.

Lets be clear. We have absolutely no fear or doubt in playing LU on the football field. We just dont want the inconvenience of driving down to Lynchburg to an inferior football atmosphere to see our team win.

Fair point, the basement comment was inappropriate. I reduced my comment to what I was criticizing Duke94 for. In fairness, this posts was placed to elicit responses from LU fans don't you agree and start this dialogue? If not that, then why?

Their atmosphere isn't inferior. I bet they would have beaten our in game atmosphere yesterday if that game was at Liberty. Yesterday at JMU wasn't exactly an exciting in game experience and they did just beat the number 1 team in the country .
