No, but if my job was to keep UAB Football, I would stand up for it. (Mackin)

If my job was to be a journalist, I would dig for the truth and report it.

All I'm saying is, for all the flack Mackin is taking he has seen what happens when you try to stand up to the board (via Reynolds, Garrison, and uat previos president). He may be a spineless jellyfish with no testicles right now. But he's a spineless jellyfish with no testicles trying to keep his job and save what he can at the moment.

In the end all we can do is keep fighting, posting, texting, and emailing. Fight to the last and be the last to fight.

Mackin is at least our a$$hole spinless jellyfish. The next a$$hole will be worse.

If things continue this way, the next one won't matter.

it won't be much of a job after the bot gets done.Mackin faces the dilemma that some people face at their jobs-they see a wrong but don't speak up because they'll lose their job and be blackballed but in this case he's hosed either way. I feel bad for his situation but I feel worse for the scholarshis and jobs that could be lost because of a evil,petty sob.

I agree somewhat. I have never been a Mackin fan. I used to take a lot of flack for attacking him on the board. He had friends here because he drank a beer once at a tailgate. That said, I don't think he is out to destroy football. He is not speaking out because he has always been a spineless yes man. There is nothing malicious about it.
