Dear Ken Barna,
Please have your EMU Eagles beat Toledo next weekend, in your house. Your gray house. Please beat them. PLEASE.

Well, maybe we need to make an EMU pump-up video so they can beat Toledo. :)

Dear toddjnsn,
While I am flattered that you personalized your appeal for a Eastern victory, I really have no control over the football gods. I would like to see Eastern play well, and if at all possible get a win, but only time will tell. I will not be able to attend the game, to add my encouragement, as I am in Florida for Thanksgiving.

Or have one of those 'pump you up' commercials for Reggie Bell.

Can he put on 20 lbs. in four days. 03-lmfao

Son, eat a lot of turkey on Thanksgiving.

Well, I put EMU's chances at close to 10%. Maybe it should be as high as 15%, actually, I dunno. Toledo could come into it fat-n-happy after Thanksgiving, aiming to avoid injury but get the win -- while EMU just throws everything & the kitchen sink at them. For the the latter to happen, EMU needs some Big Motivation to get their engines roaring.

If God loves me, he'll make EMU have the upset. If God does not love me, he'll let EMU lose. :(

Hunt and Swanson will have a field day against the EMU defense. God still loves you, just not as much as Toledo. LOL

RE: Dear Ken Barna,
Toledo is going to destroy EMU and what few fans that show up will be UT fans.

I am more interested in NIU v WMU. I was listening to sports radio in Des Moines and they were raving about PJ Fleck as a candidate for the Illinois job.

I feel for the NIU players had to leave DeKalb yesterday and play a 10:00 a.m. CST game.

So they need to be on the bus at 8 a.m. (CST) to the stadium say 8:30 a.m. (CST).

I think the seniors are getting ready for their professional (white collar) careers where the work days starts early in the morning.

I'm always fired up on Black Friday for MACtion (er, until EMU starts playing).

I'm fired up watching Corey Davis getting that foot in on the TD.

I was fired up when we played NIU a couple years ago needing a win to become bowl eligible.

Have they not read this board?

There is something called the EaglesNest (also could be named for individual posters) Doctrine which [has nothing to do with foreign policy (ala the Bush Doctrine)] but states that FBS teams should not take assistant coaches as their next head coach as they usually fail as head coaches. 03-lmfao
