Be glad, very, very glad you got us early. I'm sooooo looking forward to having GSU in Boone next year! Wish we could tee it up today!

Hey man we are delighted not only for you but of course for us. Most of us have had your back this year when you were struggling. All I can say is we won the games we had to. Y'all have gotten better while the wear and tear and injuries have begun to mount on us. Next year is next year. See you there! Just don't shoot me with that damn muzzleloader if you still have it.

Well we try to do it right. You guys had a good contingency, considering the distance.

I plan on making the trip next year to Boone!! Sounds like fun.

Congrats app. Appreciate the help. The above is nothing but sour grapes. Our sun belt ring proves who the best in the belt is and it ain't app.

Nope... App's signature wins came over two teams who represent the last 3 conference champions.

GS' signature win came over a team most of you had placed 6th in the power rankings before we they throttled stAte on thurs

losses early in the season do count for crowning champs... but that does not make GS the better team as of now. in my book APP more than deserves to be ahead of GS in the power rankings.

We have beat every conference team on our schedule thus far. Why in the heck are you making yourself look like a jealous loser by downplaying what a team that you couldn't beat has done this season.

Congrats Apps! You came down and smashed us in the mouth. I talked some trash so now I'm eating crow. Truthfully I didn't expect an easy game but I didn't expect a blowout.

Z and 90 thanks for the props. Congrats to GS on at least a shared SBC Crown. As the saying goes, you play the games on your schedule and GS has won the ones that count.

RE: CongrAts Appalachian state
I find it fairly hilarious the way this season is winding down...GS with a great shot as the outright champion...but with likely the easiest schedule in the conference. Eagle fans have riled up other teams' fanbases like few before...and no one can really feel like it was settled on the field. The Eagles have been awesome, for the most part (I know I've seen few offensive performances like they showed me in the Dome)...and they came oh so close against P5 opponents...but in the end, it's all too easy to dismiss it as running through a soft SBC schedule and doing what was expected OOC.

GS is a really good team. They've earned the title if they finish with a win. It's just amazing how unsettled it's actually going to seem to many SBC fans, especially with the annoyance of them being an FCS moveup.

It's all pretty perfect. And only a year to talk it over.

Congrats to APP state. Great program and great add to the SBC. Proud you are here and look forward to future battles. You and GA So really strengthen the conference. You may have enjoyed FCS playoffs but wait til your first bowl trip. It is tremendous fun no matter what bowl. I see lots of bowls in both of your futures.

When logic escapes you, accuse the other of Jealousy? funny thing, you aren't the first poster to resort to that tactic against fans of every program on this forum.

GS beat TXST fair and square. I have not attempted to talk TXST up. I haven't talked about TXST much at all. I was super happy to see APP beat UL and even complimented them on it. (something TXST hasn't done yet) So Jealousy?

It cant just be that I actually believe that APP woke up from whatever slump they were in and are now proving themselves on the field late in the year. I cant possibly believe that App has better wins than GS.

Nahhh... because that wouldn't be kissing GS' butt like we so desperately want everyone to do.

Hey it's all good! No smack talk intended, but there can be not doubt this App team is not the one we fielded the first 5 weeks. But that's the way it goes. Just wishing our young kids had been playing at this level back on that Thursday night. Timing is everything! Looking forward to the game in Boone next year. It ought to be a great one!

You guys will eventually find out but a bowl is so much more fun than playoffs. A bowl is a celebration...not just another game. With playoffs you have to get ready for the next game.
