MAC bball starts Week 3 with identical records in each division.

MAC East: 13-4
MAC West: 14-4

toledo has a tuesday game at home as well (Detroit or Md Eastern Shore). Western has 2 more games during the week at the wooden tourney (if they beat long beach probably washington, then poss UTEP or Xavier). miami has a neutral court game 11/26 against n. iowa or virginia tech.

Yeah, that Long Beach St @ WMU game is on the west coast.

Will be interesting to see how MAC squads do in these holiday tournaments. We appear to have a good start going, but generally the competition level will go up this week.

Go big MAC!! Good luck to all conference brethren in these tournaments. Let's see us make some noise and draw some attention.

As expected, CMU is beating up on AR-Pine Bluff.

CMU cruises to 4-0 by beating up on AR-Pine Bluff 75-43.

EMU vs Longwood is up next.

EMU by 14 at the half over Longwood.

While the record looks nice with them, I don't think we should really count non-division-I games. They don't affect RPI one way or the other, they aren't counted in any other rankings system, and the committee ignores them as well.

EMU beats up Longwood 79-48.

Kent is winning vs Yale 32-24 at half time.

Kent ends up falling to Yale.

Akron bonces back after U of M. Nice win over the Gamecocks. Akron's wins look good on paper at least - both USC and South Carolina.

MAC finishes 3-1 on Sunday, moves to 30-9 on the year.

MAC East: 14-5
MAC West: 16-4

3 games on Monday, all West teams and all very winnable.

The MAC is currently the 4th best conference in the RPI. They expect us to settle back down to 11th. I think we can beat that.

All that matters is that we're fourth best and the Big Ten is ninth right now.

Toledo wins 92-65. Rockets host Detroit tomorrow.

Ball State also wins. As of right now, there are no teams in the MAC with a losing record.

Ball State beat Grambling 88-46.
