Cross that bridge should we get there...
I think if they need incentives, we have the wrong people.
I also wonder if LaTech was looking ahead.
A little off subject, but I was wondering out loud what the incentives might be for the coaching staff for measurables, like winning the Conference, going to a bowl game, number of wins, etc. Maybe Rice does not do anything like that for its contracts in the Athletic Dept.

He's not an SOB, he's just a lucky SOB.
Now it's on us, again. Will we drop the ball, or will we seize the day?
Let's go and win in Ruston, and then beat Marshall in the rematch.
THAT will make a few around the nation take a little bit more notice of Rice.
Thanks, ODU, for bailing us out. Bailiff should send them roses for that win ('course, they DID beat us, too.)
And both wins by 3.
A lot of Rice people a few days back were writing off the LT game as a loss. I wonder if LT suddenly looks more beatable.
Buddy, many of us wrote off the Marshall road game, but not LaTech necessarily. Our chances just improved because now we have something to play for, and that makes a HUGE differemce. Had LaTech won today, next week's game would not have meant much of anything for us.
Ok, at least I'm not insane. The schedule must've changed at some point, or there's a mistake by the athletic department or website operators ...
This link has the game on the 28th, and that's what I'd imported into my calendar...http://grfx.cstv.com/schools/rice/graphics/csv/14-rice-Football.csv

The schedule online has been a mess this year. One of our other games was listed incorrectly for a while - I imported it also and thus ended up with the wrong date
