You should have played like you didn't know who he was and just start going off:
"Can you believe our president hasn't voiced public support for our program? I bet he doesn't have the balls to say something positive about the program because he's scared the BOT will fire him. Man, if I ever see that guy I'd give him a piece of my mind..."

Rode down with him in the elevator after the game. Had to turn the heat on when I got to the car. It was pretty chilly in that elevator.

shoulda turned the heat up on Watts in the elevator... 05-stirthepot

His police escort probably would not have appreciated my comments

I've said before and I'll say again, any university president who feels the need for bodyguards should resign.

I don't think I ever remember Reynolds or Garrison having bodyguards. They probably needed them against PBJ

About 8,000 to 10,000.

You would be about 7 to 9 thousand short then.

No, I'm quite sure I can give a better estimate of crowds at Legion than anyone else on this board. I would go through the process of how to make an accurate crowd estimate, but it's not worth the frustration.

And I also have access to the REAL attendance figures whenever I want them, as does anyone else on this board.

About 8,000 to 10,000.

Why do you have "blazer" in your board name?

Because I thought going to school at UAB and supporting several of my school's athletic teams entitled me to borrow the Blazer name on a message board.

Just because I don't agree with some of the errors posted on this boards doesn't make me less of a Blazer.

I agree. I sat behind Dr. Garrison at one of the Troy games in Troy. She sat amongst us common folks instead of in a Troy "box" if those even exist.

Does he really have police escorts? If so, to which events/functions/appearances, if anyone knows? That just sounds crazy if it's true.

If you were trying to do what he is attempting in a football crazed state, you would think you need body guards too. And he might be right.

You're thinking of the $EC schools in this state.

We have a small fanbase, but I am sure we have a few certifiable nuts too.

How embarrassing would it be to need bodyguards to protect you from a guy who carries a dragon puppet and dresses like a dragon.

It's always the ones you never expect and that is from personal experience working in a hospital.
