Cal keeps getting screwed by the officials in the Stanford game. It's uncanny. Like 5 plays in a row. Not that they'll win or anything, but it's just nuts. They had 3 consecutive touchdown plays reversed. I've never seen anything like it. Then they came out of an onside kick with the ball, the guy got up, and one official signaled it was Stanford ball. The ball had clearly gone ten yards, they still reviewed it and eventually got it right.

Joey Harrington got so mad he had to stop himself from saying stuff. And Joey Harrington isn't rageful.

The funny and sad thing is that if we win vs wmu and win the MACC, we will probably get a crappier bowl than if we lose to WMU. I think at this point I would rather play Illness in Detroit than Arkansas St or South Alabama in the GoDaddy Bowl. Anyone agree with my assessment?

I have been preaching this for years, not just for this scenario but for all bowls outside of the bigger "BCS" ones. All of them are meaningless because there is no correlation to quality of team and quality of post season game. There is meaning in winning the MAC, but not in any bowl game.

Next week sets up to be pretty interesting in the MWC. Boise has to play Utah State, who has been playing well. Colorado State has to play at an 8-3 Air Force team.

Yes. I've said that for a while. You get a better matchup nabbing an at-large spot instead of one of the MAC tie-ins.
