Nope, not me. If we are talking about the man who sits on the visitors side, not too far from the band, he has been bringing that sign to games all season long. I don't even know who the fellow is, but I appreciate him and like his style.
War Eagle, Roll Tide, Hook 'Em Horns, Boomer Sooner, Sooiee Pig, Hoddy Toddy, Hail State, The Gator Chomp, The Tomahawk Chop, etc. are well-known yells and signs which, though perhaps silly, are a traditional part of college sports and foster distinctive identity and fan pride. We can easily have something just as good based on a chant from 100 years ago in our history ("We fight like Tigers!") which belongs uniquely to us. Failing to do so, is yet another example of our athletic department wasting opportunity. If you don't think we need to do EVERYTHING possible to build pride, ask yourself why we didn't have a bigger crowd yesterday on a beautiful afternoon and on the verge of winning our first conference championship in over 40 years. The bowl game would be a good time to break it out.
Here are just three ways it could be done:
(1) One person, or just the cheerleaders yell "WE FIGHT" and our crowd responds with "LIKE TIGERS!".
(2) Similar to the first, except half our crowd yells "WE FIGHT!" and the other half yells "LIKE TIGERS!". This could be repeated several times.
(3) In the same fashion as "Rolllllllllll TIDE!" and "Warrrrrrrrr EAGLE!" our crowd yells "Weeeeeeeee FIGHT LIKE TIGERS!".
