GameDay: Ball State (FB)
In case anyone forgot, we have a football game today in Muncie.

This is the type of game where the team who wants it, wins it.

RE: GameDay: Ball State (FB)
The almost complete football apathy (with 2 games remaining!) is kind of an indictment on how people REALLY feel about the direction of the program. If you feel Creighton is the man, you're watching these last 2 games closely. Will the team lay down or fight? In that respect, these games are huge.

I see a tale of two cities - Muncie and Ypsilanti - actually a tale of two games in those cities.

Today's game will more then ANY other show if EMU has quit.

Next Friday Toledo may try to take us to the wood shed as they compete for the MAC West title.

What I find most interesting is the number of basketball vs. football posts now that we are in basketball season.

Guess fans like a winner and the winners are wearing the short pants.

I think it's more about HOPE. People love hope. There's still hope for the basketball team...there is none for the football team.

I'm with you, this game, long term is HUGE. It will tell us alot. Next week too. UT is taking us to the woodshed regardless, but are we gonna go down swinging? Are we gonna bloody their nose first? These last games are not meaningless to us true fans.

Looks like game temps will be in the upper 40s which isn't bad for late November in the Midwest.

I'm curious what will be most interesting today:

1). EMU FB,

2). EMU hoops (mens),

3). EMU hoops (women, but we won't know, as there is no video),

4). The ZOOperstars

Who knows, maybe Bell has a big game today and football is fun again.

I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility of our offense putting out a good performance. Outside of CMU and Akron, Ball State doesn't have much to show on the year.

RE: GameDay: Ball State (FB)
For those who have time before our game begins, the WMU/CMU game looks like a real rivalry game of two teams who are contending.

Great shots of thousands of tailgaters trying to get into the stadium.

That is what college FB is all about...

I think we can manage a better crowd next week than what they have down in Muncie today.

RE: GameDay: Ball State (FB)
With the way we've played the last 2 games, forcing punts is like scoring TDs to me. Ugh.

Ball State isn't good this year. If we had even a remotely decent team, this game would be VERY winnable. They merely suck less than we do.

We gave up an early TD against NIU but hung in that game. The boys will need to keep that mindset if we wanna stay in this.

Reggie is truly improving as a passer. I do believe his future is bright.

He looks pretty sharp today.

Stupid penalty kills yet another drive. Settle for a FG.

Selling out way too hard on Edwards. Second time we've gotten burned on that play.
