Last year's Tulane team was much better than this years iteration. ECU should have won @ Tulane last year but Tulane was a good team last year regardless is some ECU fans want to believe otherwise.

I just can't wait till Cincy gets back in to Nippert, and USF and Temple get OCS. ECU has always struggled to play in empty NFL stadiums.

ECU didn't struggle against Cincy because of being in an NFL stadium, they struggled because Cincy's a good football team that played well that night and was just better.

I acknowledge both, however when you out gain a team by 250 yards of total offense, throw a 100 yard INT returned for a TD, miss a game winning FG, and lose a in triple OT. A lot of things had to go your way to win that game.

I saw some Tulane fans use that game (our worst game) as an indictment of our team over the summer. I am sure some Temple fans will do the same after that oddity this year as well.

I agree, I saw the Cincy game as a game of two evenly matched teams. They just made more plays and having a better FG unit didn't hurt either.

Going for it there did confuse me, but only an idiot would kneel it when the other team has two timeouts.

I thought we should have kicked a FG. Warren needs the practice, especially from an angel that he would have had to kick from.

The only problem with kicking a FG is the chance of a block and return. I was not thrilled with the call. I thought an off tackle run would be appropriate. It may have been a check down at the line of scrimmage by Carden. There are multiple plays that can be run from any set in this offense depending upon what the defense shows. This may have been Carden's call. This happened in a game last year also in which Carden threw for a late TD that was unnecessary.

Tulane's defense forced that sort of thing all season last year, and it's been doing that a good portion of this year too. It wasn't a fluke, we played better. Wait for next year when we have more pieces of the puzzle together.

No. You didn't force the incompetence of a kicker.

A lot of things outside of your control allowed you to win that game. Not to mention Carden threw the uncharacteristic INT on 1st down. Series goes to 11-3 alltime and you're 0-8 in Greenville.

Who really cares about what happened last year at this point? Tulane had a good team last year, played a great game, and beat us. It's done and long over now.

Ever hear of winning with class? Yeah, you guys have a very good team and represent our conference well. Just smile and say thank you! Don't try and take away something from somebody else just to make your team look good. It's belittling. Have some class, wish the other team well and just say thank you. It goes a long way!

Tell that to your own fans that belittled our team in the preseason due to our worst game.

It may have been said already, but I give MAJOR PROPS to Tulane, which to a man came & congratulated Hardy, gave him a hug or handshake! CLASSY move! My hat's off to y'all & see you in Yulman next year! One of my cousins is a Tulane Grad & we're all meeting up in NOLA for the game!
