Hmmm...both Kendall Rogers and Aaron Fitt announced individually today on twitter that today will be their last day at their respective organizations (Perfect Game, Baseball America), and that their new move, which would be exclusively dedicated to college baseball, will be announced on Monday.

Sounds like they'll be moving to the same place given the timing. Any guesses? Could ESPN finally go big time into college baseball (for more than simply the post-season)? Sporting News finally branching into college baseball (a long overdue move)? Regardless, it should be a win - win as one has to assume that both Perfect Game and BA will replace Kendall and Aaron and continue with their current college baseball coverage, which means we'll have an additional source for college baseball coverage.

He was suspended because Schilling went on a tirade about evolution being made up, and Law attacked him for that. Despite all his faults, I really enjoyed his first tweet post-suspension:

100% guarantee Schilling couldn't translate that and probably thinks Galileo played 2B for the A's in the early 90's.

I wouldn't be surprised Jeremy has gotten funding from ESPN with whom he's had an association in recent years. And I wouldn't be at all surprised, if this is in fact the case, that ESPN eventually buys out D1 and merges it into it's own website, providing ongoing college baseball coverage. Will be interesting to see if the D1 site now sets up a message board forum, which has been a key part of Kendall's schtick from even before he worked for Rivals and Perfect Game.
