Not sure what that means... could be him recognizing he'll never be able to be a non-distraction in Ferguson. Could also be him having inconsistencies in his story but there not being enough evidence to prosecute. Very interesting.

No way in hell he could ever get back on that force. Ever. He'll have to go down to some small Southern town to live the rest of his life. I'd be willing to bet that he'll be escorted out of town in an armored vehicle simply because of the zoo that Ferguson has become.

The police chief was quoted as saying that he would return to his job if he was not indicted but would be fired if he was.

Anonymous is reporting that he is resigning. They also aren't expecting an indictment from what I can find.

No way in hell he goes back to that job. He'd be looking over his shoulder the rest of his life all because some idiot mob will be seeking revenge for his self defense, if that's indeed what it was.

Like I said before. He didn't just ruin one person's life when he shot and killed Michael Brown.

And Michael Brown didn't ruin just one person's life when he assaulted a policeman.

From what I understood was that he wasn't coming back no matter the decision. The manner in which he left would be left open pending the outcome of the Grand Jury.

Theories are if he's not indicted, he'll be well compensated by the FPD.

RE: Sounds like Darren Wilson is agreeing to resign from the Ferguson PD
I am not surprised to see a resignation Mentally speaking, this has to tear him up even if he did nothing wrong. He is always is going to second guess himself in his own mind (and yes, he will hear the detractors in the peanut gallery). If he is back on duty, the next time he encounters someone in a hostile situation he is going to be a little slower to grab his firearm, and that is not good.

Second, as LSU04 mentions this guy is going to be a moving target. Both his safety and other officers will be in jeopardy.

Finally, it is very likely Wilson has thought long and hard about this and decided that he just does not want to do this job anymore. He and his family are being put through the ringer for doing his job. If I were in his shoes I would probably say to hell with it as well and find something else.

Because all racists murderers can find refuge in a small "southern" town.... Small southern towns are full of backwards racist nitwits right?

The police chief said they'd have no problems bringing him back to the Ferguson PD If he isnt' indicted.

Maybe but they are required to demonstrate adequate grammar and spelling skills.

So the media has ruined another life for no reason. Didn't they do that with Richard Jewel in Atlanta years ago?

Fit,

It is unfortunate that MB is dead. However, he, MB, was in 100% control of the situation. Lesson should be learned here by the young punk thugs, wannabe rappers, that commit strong arm robberies and assault police officers.

Again, we still don't know what happened. There have been leaks that may or may not be true. You all sound like idiots saying it for sure went down one way or another.
