In the first set, Owls fell behind 3-0, but got back to within 1, 4-3.

.... Rice wins 6 out of 7 points to go up 11-8 9 out of 10 points to go up 14-8 .

Rice wins the first set, 25-18. WTG!!!

In the second set, after a 2-2 sart, Marshall jumps out to a 6-2 lead.

Rice takes a time out, splits the next four points ... and then goes on a 4-0 run to tie the score at 8-8 7-0 run to take an 11-8 lead! Marshall takes a time out.

Owls win 2nd set, 25-17, winning 7 of the last 10 points!

One more, ladies!!!

Off to a faster start in the third set ... Owls lead 8-2 when Marshall takes a time out.

Owls maintain a 4-6 point lead ... now ahead 17-12.

So who do we play next. When?

Rice sweeps! Wins third set 25-17. WooHoo!! WTG!

Next up is #1 seed UTSA, which earlier today swept #8 seed Charlotte, but their first and third sets went to extra points: 26-24, 25-16, 28-26.

Today the Owls had 49 kills, 10 errors and 98 total attacks, for a percentage of 0.398.

Marshall's percentage was 0.128 (34 kills, 20 errors and 109 total attacks).
