Nippert Stadium topping out ceremony
Scheduled for Friday, December 5 around 10 AM. I don't know if this is common knowledge but I hadn't seen it mentioned yet.

The construction workers will sign and put the last steel beam in place. I think it's been mentioned in some of the construction update videos.

Good for the West side top out. When does the public see final rendering for the East side? The barriers are in place, some demolishion has start, so plans are available. What is the hold up?02-13-banana

How will the east side improvements enhance revenue? Will prices be increased? I hope the enhanced revenue is not all coming from the new boxes and club seats.

Doss, where did ucdsk say anything about revenue enhancement on the east side. He is looking for renderings for the changes to the east side.

UC will make more money on the new east side set up than it did in comparison to the old set up because they are essentially doubling concession points of sale which will have the effect of increasing revenue slightly. But all of the increased revenue from those new points of sale over the course of a year probably amounts to the annual donations required for one or two of the founders suites. All the new revenue streams are coming from the west side because its only on the west side where new and meaningful revenue streams are being created. The east side is going to be far better than it was, but it is not going to be a profit center of any significance.

With the removal of the brick wall along the east side, they can add another two rows of prime sideline seating at the top of the lower bowl. I've estimated 300 additional seats. And between ticket sales and UCATS donations, that's another $100k in revenue. It's minor compared to the west side, but every bit helps.

Does anyone know if UC plans to install seats in that new space?

The better the overall stadium experience, the easier it is to get people to come back for games.

The east-side improvements will undoubtedly help revenue.

I just watched a video from the Enquirer where John Faherty interviewed Santa Ono while driving a 1954 Kaiser Manhattan. That was a great interview & I recommend watching it. Anyway, Dr. Ono said that the revenue taken in from the boxes and club seats on the west side will equal the revenue for the rest of the seats.
