Shooting stats so far
First figure is overall shooting percentage. Second is three point percentage. Roger Woods...45%.40%. Josh Hagins...25%..37.5%
Marius Hill...50%..100%. Devonte Smith...40%...100%. J.T. Thomas...28.6%..20%. Mariek Isom...45.5%..40%. James Reid...50%..45.5%. Ben Dillard...30%..33.3%.James White...44.4%..No three point attempts.
Gus Leeper...42.9%...No three point attempts.
Obviously it's way too early to make much of these stats, but it does give us an indication of what might transpire this season. There are other stats that figure into a player's performance, such as rebounds, assists, etc., but if these stats presented here are any indication we are starting to identify our shooters. We have seen a number of different player combinations, but I would imagine this next game will begin to show us how the rotation will possibly work out. I would expect Josh's percentages to rise considerably over the next few games.
I don't think he's into a rhythm yet, which might have to do with him not starting.
We have criticized Steve for not starting Josh, a first team pre season all conference performer, but I haven't heard anyone criticize Joe Foley for doing the same thing with Taylor Gault. Interesting how winning gives you a lot more street cred.

Who has criticized Steve for not starting Josh? He is the perfect 6th man, providing "instant offense" off the bench.

RE: Shooting stats so far
Read the posts more carefully. Several have made comments about Steve not starting an all conference selection. I even chimed in that it was pretty odd, but as we've always said, it's not who starts, but who finishes, and sixth men have many times been more valuable than if they were starting.
